Team Leader
£13.75 per hour based on a 40 hour contract
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Front of House Team Leader to join our management team. If you have a passion for hospitality, strong leadership skills, and a desire to deliver outstanding customer service, we would love to hear from you. As a Front of House Team Leader, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the hotel and restaurant. This role requires flexibility, as shifts will include a mix of early mornings (breakfast shifts) and late evenings (closing shifts). Management and hospitality experience is a must
Responsibilities
- Oversee the running of the shift ensuring the bar, restaurant and kitchen are operating smoothly
- Assist with the serving of guests in the bar and restaurant
- Check guests in to the hotel
- Assist with employee training
- Monitor emails and guest enquiries
- Deal with guest complaints in an efficient and empathetic manner
- Ensure all guest areas are kept presentable at all times
- Cashing up and banking when on a closedown shift
- Ensure the business is operating safely and within compliance guidelines at all times
Skills
- Previous management experience in hospitality
- Ability to work under pressure and work with a small team
- Ability to think on your feet and solve problems quickly when they arise
- Excellent communication skills both with guests and employees
- A strong passion for hospitality
- Basic IT knowledge of how to use computer and till systems
