The Tudor Rose is an independently owned pub and restaurant located in between Chester, Ellesmere Port and the Wirral, formerly owned by Whitbread. We are open throughout the day, 7 days a week, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our menu centres around classic pub food with a sprinkling of dishes from around the world. Are you associated with Brewers Fayre/Premier Inn?
The Tudor Rose was formerly part of Brewers Fayre and Premier Inn, but was sold in November 2024 and is now independently owned
Do you serve breakfast?
We do indeed! Breakfast is available 9-11 Fridays and 8-11 Saturday & Sunday
We offer an unlimited style cooked-to-order breakfast which is £10 for adults and £5 for children aged under 12
What time do you serve food until?
Our kitchen is open every day from 12noon until 8:30pm (until 7pm on Sundays) – occasionally on quieter periods we may close the kitchen slightly earlier, please call ahead if planning to join us after 8pm
What time is the bar open
Our bar and lounge is open 11:30am until 10:30pm Monday-Saturday and 12noon until 10pm on Sundays
In the daytime, you may need to go through to the restaurant to place your order

Our car park is free of charge, all we ask is that anybody using our car park makes a purchase of some form from us
Do you allow dogs?
Well-behaved dogs are allowed in our outdoor areas and in our bar & lounge. Assistance and guide dogs are allowed anywhere in the building

Children are more than welcome and can sit in both the restaurant the bar. We have highchairs available, colouring-in sheets and a games corner in our bar
We ask that if you are booking a table that requires a highchair or space for a pram that you let us know in the booking notes so we can allocated a table with enough space for you

Due to the age of our building we have a limited number of tables without stepped access. If you require a table without stepped access we advise you to include a note on your booking so we can allocate a table accordingly for you
Do you accept blue light discount
We are pleased to say we are now part of the Blue Light Discount scheme. Guests can receive 10% off their food bill when presenting a Blue Light Card or the associated app when dining with us after 12noon Monday-Saturday
The discount cannot be used on the bill if any items have been ordered from the Early Diners Menu, Prix Fixe Menu or one of our Daily Food Deals. Please check before ordering if you are unsure
